Necklace Metal Gothic

Ever since the 80s, Goth fashion has become a staple in the underground clubs and even in mainstream movies and social events. There's just something so dark, mysterious and tinglingly sexy about goth women (and men) that makes some of us crave the entire dark lifestyle. Besides, there are very few other subcultures anywhere in the world that appeal so much to the darker side of beauty than the goth subculture does.
And so one day you may decide to want to become part of this elite circle of darkness-lovers. But do you have the essentials to look the part? Apart from loving the films, the music, and the lifestyle, sometimes you have to learn how to dress properly. So what are the ultimate essentials for goth attire?
- Pendants: These, like rings, are widely accepted in the goth subculture. In fact, sometimes the more you have the better you look! Silver is the most usual color for goth styled pendants nowadays. Common designs are that of crosses, tombstones, bats, dragons, Egyptian ankhs and skulls. If you prefer chains or a shorter necklace, a Gothic pendant or ribbons can be the perfect substitute.
- Buttons and cufflinks: If you'd like to show the pride of being a goth, you can do it better by attending even formal events with somewhat Gothic accessories which are more subdued. Big, amber or crystal cufflinks are great favorites. Coffins, pentagrams, or black hearts also make great designs. Celtic designs are perfect for long, billowy shirts.
- Footwear: You don't have to go far to figure out the best way to fit into the goth subculture is to don large, black boots. A lot of practitioners usually fit them with spikes or metal clasps. High heels, stilettos and platform boots are really popular in the Gothic subculture. Silver chains may be added to enhance your overall look.
